2 Perfect Outfits To Try For Valentine's Day (One For Each Boy Toy)

Friday, February 05, 2016

Before you gasp in horror and pass virtual judgments about me... if you've been reading my blog I hope you'd get my sense of humour enough to know that I am just kidding.... Or am I? Hahaha. The Bam realm shall never find out.

Moving along, here are two very different outfits I've curated just for you especially for Valentine's Day, whether you have a Tinder date or not. Enjoy, bookmark this page and stay inspired this V-Day!

1. The Formal Date Outfit

Wearing: Bec & Bridge 'Pompette' Deep V Dress in Ivory (currently on sale at Glue Store!), Alias Mae 'Civice' Heels in Red

Contrary to what you may think, these red heels are actually incredibly versatile. I've worn them in a more casual outfit here

Pictured above: Philippa Craddock Red Roses via Selfridges, Louis Vuitton Chain Louise GM in Noir M94335, Tarte Tarteist lip crayon in 'Thirsty' via Sephora (available in Australia's Sephora March 2016)

These Alias Mae heels have become a cult favourite. You can tell from these pictures that they are slightly too large for me (the smallest they came in was a 36, and I'm normally a size 35-36), but I still wear them anyway when I want to look good and know that I won't be walking around too much - for example on a nice V-day dinner date where he picks me up in his car ;-)

I naturally leaned towards white and red for a beautiful candle-lit dinner date, because white gives off the air of someone fresh, angelic and pure. It's definitely something I want to feel like on a day of celebration and love. The Chloe signature Eau de Parfum that I recently got as a birthday present embodies this idea so well, I'll be wearing it on Valentine's Day as it's currently my holy grail/ favourite scent!

2. The Casual Date Outfit

Perfect to wear with nude or blush outfits, such as these ones here.

Wearing: Paige Denim T-shirt (grey version on sale now), Witchery Knit Wrap Skirt, Samantha Wills 'Band of Outsiders' necklace, Fallen Broken Street fedora via General Pants

Loving my hair here, styled and curled for once. I recently got the Babyliss Pro Ceramic curler off Adore Beauty and have started curling my hair every since. I think loose waves look a lot more flattering on short hair. I have chopped off at least two inches since this outfit was shot and currently my hair sits slightly below shoulder length, so all the more reason to have perfectly styled hair when I'm not too busy abusing my roommate's Netflix account working or socialising.

Happy Valentine's Day!
