These pictures were taken at my beloved Sydney University campus, around the Quad area (Hogwarts building). I've mentioned before that I don't wear heels to uni (unless I have a business presentation), but for this shoot's purpose I packed my trusty black heels that I know will go with everything and anything I wear!
Let me first say that Sarah is an amazing designer. Everything you see above is her amazing creation! I'm particularly in love with the thigh split skirt. Come summer, everyone will start wearing muscle tanks and showing off their side boobs. I try to compensate my lack of side boobies with copious amounts of side leg action, and it usually works.. Flaunt your assets, and hide your flaws, my friend!
I'm wearing: Sarah Jane Knapp gold cami, gold leather shorts, sand silk tee and printed thigh split skirt. Seed heritage shoes.

Just a few of my favourite things at the moment.
Funny story: I went with a friend to Sydney's Noodles Night Market today. We planned to meet at 7pm in front of Zara. With the temperature dropping and me walking into the store for warmth, we all know that this is a recipe for disaster :P Because I was feeling chilly, I decided to buy a random sweater there and then! It was totally a impulse purchase, which is so not me!
It's always depressing when I do a trend's post, because it's just yet another reminder that I'm living in the wrong hemisphere.
Here's a Topshop version that's also mildly affordable/exciting. I love the boxy and oversized cut of this season's coats as well. I love them so much I'm considering sweating the shit out of myself just so I can wear a nice, fluffy pink coat during summer nights out. If you see a walking cotton candy (or, as some of you may like to call it, "fairy floss") along Sydney CBD / George Street in the next few months, feel free to come up to me to say hi :P

This is exactly what I wore to uni today! I never rarely ever wear heels when I'm out and about during the day. Thursday is always my busiest day of the week since I only finish classes at 5.30pm, so I literally took these snaps right after I got home, hoping to catch the last of the sun rays. To me, this is the golden hour where the pictures turn out amazingly well. I generally only take outfit pictures early in the morning or during evenings where the sun's about to set. During mid-day, the sun is just too harsh, and pictures don't turn out very nice.
I've been told that I don't smile enough in my photos, so here's a slightly upbeat picture. My lip color is Kate Moss x Rimmel London's #20! It's highly pigmented and is my favorite lip color at the mo :) I also love this vintage purple wool top that was a hand-me-down from my mom. It reminds me of the Louis Vuitton Fall 13/14 runways, where models were draped in luxurious cashmere sweaters and silk cami dresses. The sleeves are such a unique cut as well, and the best thing is that it's really warm! Perfect for a slightly chilly spring day today in Sydney.
I'm wearing: Topshop brogues (old), Sportsgirl sunglasses, Vintage top, We The Hunters jeans, Sportsgirl bag and The Accessory Store cocktail ring

Yay! Got interviewed! Ba-dum. Not the corporate, "so why do you wanna work with us-- be careful of your answers because this may or may not be a trick question" kind, but the "you can be true to yourself and say whatever you want" sort. :)
Check it out HERE.
YAY I'm back to using this green backdrop again! As opposed to my plain old garage door haha. What do we think? Do we like the refreshing change or should I be consistent?
I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with matching everything at the moment (see previous posts!), so when Ally from Substance blog (check her out- she's a major babe) told me to pick something out from Cupcake, I couldn't help but chose the only set they have on offer.
This is exactly what I wore to uni today (swapped the heels for flats), and got so many compliments! Yay! Also wore the same jacket with a white top, black jeans and heels to the Makeup Social Launch Party on Saturday night where I met the lovely Chloe Morello. I'm planning to incorporate more of a beauty aspect to my blog as well, because fashion and beauty goes hand in hand, and I find it surprising that a lot of fashion bloggers are not too into the whole beauty shebang! Let me know whether you'd like to see more beauty stuff, or ask me anything HERE.
I'm wearing: Cupcake Tweed Jacket, Tweed Shorts, Sportsgirl Sunnies, 8 Other Reasons Necklace via The Accessory Store, Her Fashion Box Rose Gold ID Bracelet (Get $20 off your first HFB order by entering code "MUS")
Please hype on Lookbook:
A few weeks ago I received an email from the Her Fashion Box team about getting a box to review! I was so excited for it to come because I've heard about this subscription box before, but never had the chance to try it out. HFB is a subscription box where you choose to pay either $24.99 or $39.99 a month, and get a monthly surprise box delivered to your house. In each month there would be around 3-4 fashion accessories and 3-4 deluxe beauty products.
It came in an amazing black magnetic box packaging (perfect for storing all my bibs and bobs). Here are just a glance of some of the items included in my box:
Pure Moisture Coconut Creme body scrub. I've been consuming coconut oil with my food intake lately in the effort of gaining weight, so I was excited to get to try coconut scrub on my external body.
Designer Brands Chubby Crayon. This reminds me of Clinique's Chubby Stick, but at a more affordable price point. Personally have never tried the chubby stick before, but this DB chubby crayon is probably my most favourite item in the box! I love how smoothly it glides on my lips. I've been wearing it a few days in a row now and it's now permanently living in the side pocket of my bag as my daily "emergency" lipstick.
Swatches with no flash on. I tried to compare it my 2 other favorite lippies just so you can maybe compare the shade if you so happen to have these. From left to right. Maybelline's Color Whisper in Who Wore it Red-er, Maybelline's Vibrant Mandarin and Designer Brand's Chubby Lipstick.
Swatches against my skin tone.
The box also came with 2 magazines! 1 Designer Brand Beauty magazine, and 1 Her Fashion Box magazine (tells you more about the products included, and how to style them).
I forgot to mention that there are 3 boxes you can choose from: Trendy, Classic and Feminine. I got sent the Trendy box, and in it comes this coolest color block clutch! It's neon yellow on side, and flip it over and you get gold on the other! If only I can do this on eggs... (For every yellow egg I flip on the pan every morning.. I get gold bars hehehe)
This clutch is the perfect size for a classy night out, with gold accessories du jour. It perfectly fits my phone, credit card and my chubby crayon lippie, and to be honest, that's all I need! (Okay fine, maybe just a few emergency band-aids for my shoes).
These are just half of what I received! I also got a rose gold chain bracelet, rose gold ring (both came in really nice pouches), 2 nail polishes and 1 face mask (that I've already used- it was sooo moisturizing)
Check out HFB's Website for more information! I guarantee you'll fall in love with it as much as I have :)
If you have already tried out HFB, leave me a comment and tell me what you think about it!
